Director of Sales and Account Management, European Markets


The Opportunity

ZE PowerGroup, developers of the award winning ZEMA Data Management and Analysis Suite, is actively expanding its European presence and is seeking an experienced professional to act as their European Director of Sales and Account Management operating out of London.

This exciting role entails a combination of lead generation, pre-sales support, client support and account management. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of business and technical issues around energy trading and risk management systems. The candidate will be one of the primary points of contact for ZE's existing and future European clients and will act as a liaison between those clients and the ZEMA Head Office.

The Director of Account Management will work closely with our Director of Business Development to play a critical role in expanding ZE's presence in the rapidly evolving European energy market, helping to enhance ZE PowerGroup's reputation and market share.

This role provides an attractive combination of base salary + results based compensation with a flexible schedule focused on your ability to deliverable. You will be part of a company that is in significant quickly establishing itself as the market standard and will be very easy for you to promote its value proposition.

Responsibilities

  • Lead generation, sales support and client management
  • Collaborate with client’s technical managers and business users to comprehend, analyze and document needs and issues
  • Provide appropriate input to ZEMA development team around operational issues and planning & scheduling
  • Good understanding of performance issues/solutions with ZEMA product implementation

Requirements

  • 5+ years work experience within energy trading and risk management
  • Strong understanding of the European energy trading business
  • Strong understanding of systems and overall solution architecture
  • Excellent technical and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and oral, essential.
  • Self-motivated, strong bottom-line and techno-functional leadership, essential.
  • Ability to take ownership of activities and the tenacity to ensure successful completion.
  • Willing to travel where necessary
